2016
- Company incorporated in January 2016
- Opened up our first Chester office with only a few employees.
- Started to develop strong relationships with our customers and suppliers
- Began to establish ourselves as a trusted supplier with a customer-first focus
2017
- Hired our first full-time engineer as our demand increased and our customer base grew.
- Opened up our second office location in Coventry and hired additional internal sales resource to cope with the growing demand.
- Grew our service and maintenance operations, ensuring our procedures and services were reliable and carried out to the highest standard.
- We expanded into the world of projects with a national telecommunications customer – upgrading, supplying, and installing new equipment across the UK
2018
- Landed a nationwide contract with one of the UK’s largest retailers, providing service and maintenance solutions to hundreds of sites across the country.
- Ensured we had both planned and reactive maintenance cover nationwide by adding more engineering resource.
- Expanded our customer base even further into data centres, NHS facilities, educational facilities, and distribution centres.
2019
- Became an official UK dealer of the industry leading Atlas Copco QIS diesel generator range, providing the highest quality solutions for our customers.
- Opened up our Head Office industrial business unit in Coventry.
- Built and developed our website
- Achieved ISO 9001 accreditation, demonstrating our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Implemented a sophisticated ERP system, helping us to manage our customer base and internal field-based resource.
2020
- Covid-19 hit and we adapted to work from home.
- Moved into a larger office in Chester for long-term growth
- Achieved a number of key Health & Safety accreditations, including CHAS, Constructionline, Avetta & SafeContractor.
- Reached 20 full-time employees
- Continued to grow our customer base and service offering to include Uninterruptible Power Supply service and maintenance.
- Embarked on a long-term generator rental project with a global retailer.
2021
- Completed refurbishment at our new National Operations Centre in Chester.
- Awarded a large UPS service contract with a leading UK retailer.
- Multiple large generator installation projects at large UK retail and distribution sites.
- Awarded service contracts at a large data centre in the West Midlands and a major football stadium in the North of the UK.
- Increased turnover by 38% from the previous year and saw operating profit improvements of 81% from the previous financial period.
- Significant investment in stock and equipment expansion, including multiple new load banks added to our fleet.
- Awarded a national service contract with a private health care provider.
2022
- By January we reached 30+ full-time employees.
- We installed our first major tier 1 data centre project in the Midlands. (link to case study here)
- Continued to grow our projects division, installing multiple new generators across the UK.
- Introduced private medical insurance for all employees.
- Increased turnover again by 25% from the previous financial period.
- Reached 40 full-time team members by October.
- Started to plan for a Group-wide rebrand.
- Restructured our senior management team and created a board of directors.
2023
- Landed a prestigious contract to cover a range of public sector facilities across the UK.
- Landed a contract with one of the UK’s largest logistics businesses, maintaining their critical power equipment across the country.
- Expanded our service offering with HV solutions & secured a service contract for transformer servicing with a large UK retailer.
- Grew to over 50+ employees nationwide
- Introduced a new Profit Related Pay Bonus Scheme to incentivise all employees.
- In April, we completed and launched our rebrand, with a big launch event and social media campaign.
- Carried out research into sustainable technologies including battery storage solutions and solar with a view to increase our product portfolio and service offering over the years to follow.
