VPC-1000 Mobile 1MWh Battery Energy Storage System

The VPC-1000 includes integrated DC charging with a combined output of 560kW and a peak of up to 400kW per charging gun.

This makes it suitable for high-power charging applications, including heavy vehicles and electric plant, depending on vehicle and connector compatibility. It can help you introduce charging infrastructure at locations where the grid connection cannot provide the required power.

The system can deliver AC power and DC charging simultaneously, with a combined output of up to 1.1MW. Vehicles and equipment can be charged while the battery continues to supply other site loads.

The VPC-1000 stores electricity and uses it when it provides the greatest operational value. Stored energy can support periods of increased demand, reduce pressure on the grid connection and give organisations more control over how power is used across a site.

By providing additional capacity when demand rises, the system can help manage peak loads and reduce dependence on conventional temporary power. It can also support your energy strategy by improving efficiency, reducing operating costs, and preparing your sites for increased electrification.

Intelligent software continuously monitors and optimises the battery system to support performance, safety and efficiency.

Individual battery packs are monitored throughout operation, while Ethernet, RS485, Wi-Fi and 4G provide flexible communication options. The VPC-1000 also supports IEC 102/104, CAN and Modbus protocols for connection to compatible monitoring and energy-management systems.

This provides greater visibility of battery condition and system performance, allowing any potential issues to be identified and managed promptly.

The VPC-1000 uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, known as LFP. This battery chemistry provides the stability and durability required for demanding commercial and industrial energy-storage applications.

Liquid cooling helps maintain appropriate battery temperatures during charging, discharging and standby operation. This supports consistent performance and helps protect the batteries throughout their working life.

The system provides a charge and discharge rate of up to 0.5C, with a specified cycle life of more than 5,000 cycles to 90%. You can also replace individual battery packs, allowing you to repair and upcycle the system rather than replace it as a complete unit.

The all-in-one design integrates battery storage, AC power, intelligent controls, cooling, safety systems and high-capacity DC charging within one mobile unit.

Measuring 6,060mm long, 2,440mm wide and 2,950mm high, the VPC-1000 provides substantial storage and power capacity from a compact footprint. Its flexible design allows the solution to be configured around different project and site requirements.
